We took a Holiday December Bike Ride through the Coral Caye neighborhood and the results were a great time and a fun video… Enjoy!
Our residents at Coral Caye have always gathered to celebrate the holidays and 2019 was no exception. Gathering in the beautiful Carl Caye Clubhouse, everyone had a marvelous time with great food & company. The frequently pictured shorts attire will confirm that our weather was fantastic and Coral Caye’s casual tropical appeal is ever present.
In addition to visiting the unique shops and great restaurants that create the charm of West Dearborn Street, shoppers can stroll through the booths of over a hundred artists. Well-known local artists and exhibitors from all over the United States will be participating! Fine art in all mediums will be available, including: sculpture (metal, wood and glass), paintings (watercolor, acrylic, oil and pastel), jewelry (gold, silver, and gemstones), photography, pottery and ceramics, and mixed media.
Taking advantage of the fantastic Winter Weather down here on the Gulf Coast of Florida is made all the easier by living in one of our delightful Courtyard Homes. We Just did a photo shoot on a glorious February morning of three unique courtyard homes here at Coral Caye to let you see how you can take full advantage of the Florida Sunshine!
The proud owners were more than happy to show off how they have adapted these unique floor-plans to maximize their enjoyment of the community they now call home. From the street you would never know what surprises lie behind these beautiful front doors. And the possibilities are truly endless when you see the very different presentations of these three courtyards.
You will have to forgive us if we seem to be bragging a bit in regards to our great weather down here in Placida. As we are starting out December with wonderful temperatures in the mid 80’s we can’t help reminiscing about the outdoor fun we have here at Coral Caye. As a celebration of another great Summer, our residents threw a Pool Party at the end of September in our great Community Clubhouse and a Swimmingly Good Time Was Had By All!
We have room for you to join them, so pay us a visit this Winter and pick a great spot for your next home!

There are many great activity opportunities here at Coral Caye. We have a lot of amenities inside our beautiful community and now we have access to the newly opened Placida Trail, a 6.5 mile sidewalk/multi-use trail that runs along Placida Road from Rotonda Boulevard West to the Boca Grande Causeway. The 10 ft wide trail provides for a safe environment to do long walks, runs and bike rides through our beautiful surroundings.
Take a look at our activities video here and you will catch a glimpse of some of our happy homeowners taking advantage of the new trail!
